Rebecca is a Lubbock native and a graduate of both South Plains College and Lubbock Christian University holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work. Rebecca has multiple years of experience as a teacher in the area of early childhood education.
Rebecca holds certification in the Parents as Teachers educational model serving families expecting a baby through age 5 as well as the Mothers & Babies educational model developed by Northwestern University. Rebecca implements the community wide Early Literacy program providing Storytime learning events at all four public libraries in the City of Lubbock and in the City of Wolfforth Library.
Rebecca also holds national certification as a Car Seat Technician and serves as an educator for the Car Seat Safety classes.
